Dear volunteers,

The Garrett Bardsley Foundation volunteer search effort for Ray Humpherys has concluded. The Summit County Search and Rescue team will continue with any further search efforts.

To the hundreds of volunteers that gave their time, means, and energy to this search: Thank you so very much. We all wish we had been able to find Ray already, but we are so grateful for the outpouring of love that has been shown and for all the territory we were able to cover in the search for Ray.

To all the news and media that have helped cover the search: Please accept our heartfelt thanks for helping spread the word about the search. We could never have gotten the size of volunteer response that we did without your help.

Our hearts go out to Ray and his family and we pray that he may yet be found.

Sincerely,
The Garrett Bardsley Foundation

Ray Humpherys, a 66-year-old man, has gone missing near Hidden Lake.

We have been asked to help organize a search.

We will be starting a search Saturday morning (7/21) at 8:00am at the Trial Lake Dam. Look for the Garrett Bardsley foundation trailer. Here is a Google Maps link.

If you can't come for the full day we still need you! Just let us know if you are coming and around what time to expect you.

We need ground pounders in good physical condition and people on horseback. There is parking for horse trailers. (Please no 4 wheelers or similar for this search.) Searching will involve rugged hikes.

We also are looking for donations of food (for example: fruit, sandwiches, gatorade, chips) as well as ice.

If you will be coming please let us know by emailing us at volunteers@findgarrett.org
